Hello, We're the DarkwoodSystem!

We're an Dx'd DID system, we're bodily 20 as of 2026!

We go by He/They/It/Xe & Neo/Xeno pronouns!

We are an; self-taught and avid coder, artist, game creator, music producer & photographer ⋆ We're super into old technology and anything retro, with Windows XP and older systems being our absolute favorites!! ✧*｡٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*｡

We're also really into oldecore, 2000's, grunge, emo, horror & old-tech aesthetics. We grew up around old hardware, old websites, old software and more! If it's old, weird, nostalgic, archived, forgotten, abandoned, slightly broken, or makes dial-up noises… we're probably obsessed with it :P

Most of our time is spent making things. We make games, websites, interactive projects, graphics, resources, and code random stuff for fun.

We also make VRoid models, design characters, draw (digital + traditional + experimental stuff), do photography, edit videos, produce music and mess around with audio projects.

We used to do voice acting too!! We're rusty nowadays but still love character voices and audio work. Outside of the computer world we also make doll clothes, sculpt with clay, do pottery, garden a bit, collect inspiration from everywhere, and generally jump between hobbies every five seconds.

We really like making physical things and digital things equally :D

Interests rotate constantly but horror is our fave! We LOVE horror media, analog horror, ARGs, found footage, webseries, internet horror, weird obscure media, psychological horror, old Japanese horror, SCP, old creepypasta's, archives, forums, mystery projects, and things that blur fiction/reality. Media-wise we're into a ridiculous amount of stuff… music from basically every direction (emo, alt, metalcore, visual kei, old internet music, vocal stuff, experimental, etc), anime, games, podcasts, movies, webseries and random internet rabbit holes. We especially love old RPGMaker horror, retro games, weird indie projects, old Roblox eras, old YouTube aesthetics and niche communities.

Gaming-wise we play basically anything but especially horror, retro, indie, source games, sandbox games, old Roblox, psychological games, weird experimental games, and games that feel like they came from someone's basement in 2008.

We're also 420 friendly, probably listening to music while coding, and usually working on at least twelve unfinished projects at once. Bring back weird websites, guestbooks, custom cursors, tiny buttons, and making things just because they're cool >:3
